Everybody has a chance to win and the contest is still going on! :) The number of views isn't the same as the number of actual votes and nobody knows how many votes each dog has...;) It's a competition but it's also a lot of FUN! :) Probably a lot of dogs have their fans, friends and supporters by now. We're sure Layla has a lot of them as well. :)

Hello Sharny! Oh.....don't be sad cause you won't enjoy yourself on vacation! I know it's tough to leave your best friend, but sometimes there are situations when you have to. I'm sure Akira will do great and she loves to make you happy so much that I bet she'd be worried if you were sad on vacation. Yes - she was on the Times Square billboard! :) I'm not sure if you saw Shakti's other videos on YouTube - there are 4 movies for now, but there are many more to come (including tricks). She knows a lot of things, but I just didn't get a chance to make movies yet...Right now, we're fostering and training a dog so we're quite busy, but making more movies is on our "to do list" for sure. We'll let you know. If you'd like you can also subscribe to Shakti's mailing list on her website to receive updates and news about her new movies, etc. :)

A note to Carla S. and Lulub: Shakti loves being trained and we enjoy the training process with her and that's the most important thing for us. We enjoy sharing that joy with other people if they can appreciate that. Everybody's entitled to their opinion and that's why there's a "Vote for me" button up there for people who enjoy a movie and would like to vote for a dog that they think deserves a vote. If you don't think that a dog deserves a vote - just don't vote. There's no reason to post nasty comments if you don't like a movie. Also, there are a lot of other contestants who have movies on YouTube - there's nothing wrong about that and it has nothing to do with taking part in the World Wide Fido contest.
Hi Lexi and Mike it's a free country so i can do whatever i want and i can post anyhing I want. So I still think your dog can't say the word hello. And the reason you have so many votes is because you've been voting for yourself and I reported you to the head of the fido corporation to see which computer all the votes came from.
Lulub - it lists the number of "views". Those do not equal votes. Why would Lexi and Mike watch their own video that many times? ROFL! I think they have better things to do with their life. You seem like a very unhappy person and I'm sad for you. I hope you find something that makes you happy =-)
